For current students, recent graduates or professionals in the journalism, business administration and finance fields, Odd Cents can provide you with valuable internships. Our interests include all segments of the Caribbean business, finance and personal finance industries – banking, investment and wealth management, small business and entrepreneurship, local, regional and international business and trade, financial products and services and financial services providers.

The Caribbean’s business and finance sector is evolving rapidly and it is imperative that our people are equipped to deal with the changes and their impact. The development and encouragement of new approaches to business is an exciting endeavour that can ensure the longevity of the Caribbean’s services sectors. New areas of interest such as personal finance, risk management, anti-money laundering and consumer protection will have a positive impact on the Caribbean economy.

Odd Cents Internships

An Odd Cents internship will give you the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience, foster greater insight into which area of study you want to pursue and help you to establish a foothold in building your career. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of business and finance theory and demonstrate your ability to apply what was learnt to a practical scenario. Our internships are a smart avenue to see business and finance as a critical function of governments, organisations, small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Our internship programme is on a voluntary basis. Consequently, selected interns will not be entitled to any remuneration or allowance and will be responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of the training. Also, acceptance of an intern carries no expectancy of employment at the end of the training period.
